The 4th miscarraige
I bumped into a college friend of mine today and I decided to catch up while having coffee. In my excitement I immediately told her I was pregnant....
Graciously she congratulated me, then tactlessly I asked if she was planning to have a child with her lifetime partner...
Apparently, they have been trying. She has had 4 miscarriages... I didn't know what to say... I even felt somehow guilty for looking so happy....
She said that her body was somehow rejecting the baby... like as if it's a foreign body and her system defends against it....
Is anybody familiar with this kind of problem? Is there anyway this can be solved? I truly want to help her...
